– Cancellations and/or modifications on orders will be considered if a request is made within 3 hours of placing an order. You may write to us at [email protected].
– In case of refunds for cancelled orders, a 2% payment gateway fees will be deducted on total order amount paid by the customer. Applicable refunds will be initiated within 5 business days of being approved. The amount of time it takes before the money is credited back to the customer’s account depends on the clearing cycle of the customer’s bank.
– Coffee: Coffee is perishable and is roasted to order in very small batches, hence we’re unable to accept returns on coffee. However, if there was an error with your order, if you were dissatisfied with your coffee, have questions about how to brew it, or if you have concerns about the quality, please reach out to us at [email protected] within 7 days of your purchase. In case the order received by you is defective or is missing an item, we shall send a fresh order to replace it. Please write to us at [email protected].
Merchandise and Brewing equipment:
– Products are returnable within the applicable return window of 10 days only, if you’ve received them in a condition that is physically damaged, has missing parts or accessories, defective or different from their description on the product detail page on www.democraticco.com
– Return will be processed only if:
a) it is determined that the product was not damaged while in your possession;
b) the product is not different from what was shipped to you;
c) the product is returned in original condition (with brand’s/manufacturer’s box, MRP tag intact, user manual, warranty card, and all the accessories therein).
– For applicable warranty repair claims and returns, The customer will be responsible for delivering the Merchandise products and Brewing equipment to our office in Vadodara, Gujarat in new and unused condition in its original packaging. The delivery cost for the same will have to be borne by the customer. You may write to us for the same at [email protected].
– For all returns, replacement, and warranty repair claims, we reserve the right to evaluate claims and we might ask you to provide relevant pictures concerning your order.
Coffee subscriptions are billed monthly and refunds for purchases will be prorated, based upon the number of shipments remaining.
